Marine Construction Is Where JSC Started
JSC Contracting Inc is Central Florida’s leading marine construction company. Docks, boathouses, seawalls, and boat lifts are not a side business for us — they’re the work this company was built on. Everything else we do came later, because customers who watched us build on the water kept asking us to build on land too.
Marine construction is a different trade than building on dry ground. Your contractor has to read the water body — soil under the waterline, wake and current, seasonal water levels, storm surge — and then design, permit, and build something that stands in it for decades. We do all of that in-house: our own crews, our own barges and equipment, and one point of contact from the first site walk to the finished build.

Docks & Boathouses
A dock is the front porch of your waterfront — and no two of ours are the same. Straight walkways, platform docks, two-story docks with viewing decks, wood or composite, on lakes, rivers, and coastal water. As custom dock builders in Central Florida, we handle the site prep, the permitting, the pilings, and the build itself — no subcontractor roulette.
Want your boat covered too? We’re also a full Central Florida boathouse builder. A boathouse protects your boat from sun and storm, adds real property value, and — built right — becomes the best-looking structure on the shoreline. Docks and boathouses designed together always come out better than ones bolted together later.
Seawalls, Pilings & Shoreline Protection
The other half of marine construction is the part you don’t see from the water: the engineering holding your shoreline in place. Our seawall construction and repair work covers new walls in wood or galvanized steel, anchored tie-back systems, concrete caps, and repairs to walls that are bulging, cracking, or washing out behind.
We also set and replace dock pilings — the foundation of every dock and boathouse. Rotted or storm-loosened pilings are one of the most common marine repairs in Florida, and catching them early is dramatically cheaper than rebuilding the deck they hold up. When soil conditions call for it, we work alongside a geotechnical engineer so the design is calculated, not guessed.
Boat Lifts
Keeping your boat out of the water when you’re not using it is the single best thing you can do for it. We handle boat lift installation and repair — new installs, replacements, and upgrades for everything from a pair of jet skis to lifts rated at 38,000 lbs. We’ve set lifts for 70-foot boats at Crystal River.
Because we’re a full marine construction company and not just a lift dealer, we can also reinforce the dock or add the pilings a bigger lift needs — one crew, one contract, one finished job.
